For the progress of the work Cajicá Hospital and the impact on the community and the region, Mr. Jacome Rincon Fabiola, was visited by the Deputy Minister of Social Protection, Beatriz Londoño, Governor Cundinamarca Andrés González Díaz, Director of Quality Ministry of Social Protection, Luis Fernando Correa, the Ontario Ministry of Health, Soraya Lopez, and the Director of ICCU Cundinamarca, Alex Rodriguez, who has been leading the project with the approval and resourcing.
The Cajicá Hospital Director Dr. Sandra Corredor, spoke about the project, development plans and the construction of the Hospital, besides the legal issue and use by an operator, in this case a health institution national recognition.
For the Governor of Cundinamarca, this work represents a major achievement of the current administration Cajicá, because there is a great need for the high rate of population demand and insufficient facilities for the provision of health services, but must be taken into account when negotiating with the Health Promoting Business in relation to surrounding municipalities, contracting for second level services that do not affect demand for services in towns such as Chia and Zipaquirá Hospitals with second and third level.
On the other hand, the new hospital will be linked to a large network of integrated services, integrating Cajicá with 115 municipalities in the department, managing to meet the strong demand, causing impact in the field of health in the region.
