Management of Public Enterprises Facatativá issued on Monday February 21, 2011 Resolution 010, by ordering the temporary suspension of the sacrificial service of the beneficiation plant to animal Facatativá maintaining a line of cattle slaughter.
The resolution of the company believes that the current state of facilities and equipment in the area of \u200b\u200bcattle demand the implementation of preventive maintenance activities and corrective that can not be developed simultaneously with the process of sacrifice, since the purpose is to ensure the safety of these procedures.
This decision responds to the health inspection carried out at the animal processing plant 16 to February 18, estimates that it takes ten days to make the respective maintenance and consequently forces to suspend the operation of area slaughter of cattle during this period.
For this reason the beef slaughter service will be suspended from Monday 21 February until Friday, March 4 this year, and after completing the maintenance, cleaning and disinfection will resume the service users of the municipality and the region.
