the brown bear shorebirds in Gijón
Well, the truth is that had long been thinking about making an entry in this style. I know there are people who look like them regular input, but after reading it I hope you do not think the same. This entry is intended to be a link between personal observations of this species in the field, but also a critique of sitiaciones to live at times because of overcrowding normally. From the outset I say that not disclose the location of any of the pictures that enclose to this post. I note that what I say in this post may offend someone but if it does will with reason.
After this short introduction to start with my observations of brown bears. My first observation was about 4 years ago, when you bear this in was not so very crowded as now. It seems incredible that things can change in a few years. The observation in question was made by my father. It was a female with 2 cubs this year, esbardos that call here. Told me and I got there to enjoy watching. I've had better sightings but you all know that the former is remembered with special affection. The esbardos played in a Chera under the watchful gaze of his mother who stood on his hind legs from time to time to take a look. This observation was made by yourself, soon you will understand why I say this. This bear the other time I could see several miles from where I saw the first time.
I had another encounter with grizzly bear, perhaps the closest to time. An immature feeding on a hillside one morning in July. It was an unexpected encounter as we we had intended to make a route and not run into a mane. The observation lasted about 2 hours while under a birch escndidos stayed. The animal walked through the area until the crown to the opposite side of the mountain.
subadult
Cantabrian brown bear observations were happening more as the years passed. Mainly because they were more the hours spent in the field. Large males looking for a female with which to mate, even a male walking with a female in feeding the month of April small buds that were born next to a path in an oak forest. Are observations that evoke the magic of the Cantabrian mountains, but are just that, observations. I do a lot of grace
people who call themselves naturalists who travel from one side to another of the world just to cross names from a list as if they were pieces of a puzzle or something. By waiting for this animal, every time you meet more people in the hot spots that I call. There are people who come there with a telescope and looks to kick little hill, just go where the car arrives. Placed in the observatory and are dedicated to chat with people while others seek the animal. Once you have found looking through the telescope 1 seconds to confirm that you have seen and talk again, possibly smoking a cigarette that is very natural too.
is the kind of people who claims to have seen a national rarity that no reservoir has not yet been able to enjoy something as common as the courtship of the charcoal. People who strives to report that has been somewhat complicated and this blinds them to see everyday.
Unfortunately these people do that people actually live this passion in a respectful manner have earned a reputation they do not deserve. As always pay for the sins.
Cantabrian brown bear Macho
The point is that if you take hours searching as a mythological animal such as the brown bear, it is only fair to enjoy the moment and not blind you to call people by phone and discuss it with the people there are crying, because the voices are given in the winches. If anything I learned in this time I've been in this business is that now we must enjoy them. You can not lose for trying to take a picture or a recording. The best lens is the human eye and the best memory card is the brain. That no one can change it.
is true that the brown bear is a tourist attraction which attracts large numbers of people to rural areas and leaves money in the villages. But we also think that coast. It is not profitable for a town rich with visitors dens trying to get over the animal to get a good picture by sliding your area for foraging. Neither income they earn money if we expect full of trash people who go there and respects the environment.
Osa Cantabrian
This bear was fed in summer with two cubs on a mountain limestone of the mountains.
Bear has always been a controversial animal. You hear people everywhere saying that to bear it. What sense does that animal. But when they hear a bear coming to camp somewhere are the first who are there looking through binoculars. Also listen to bullshit like there kicking bears or we should start to hunt bear. The source is almost always the same, sure you know what I mean.
As you can see my I have never liked the overcrowding. But do not get confused. I support that people everywhere see the bear and the momentum that favors rural areas. But it should be meaningful and not flying blind. This makes watching the bear in an area where no one and view it in a crowded place with sticking telescopes voices have notable differences.
The problem is that many people would prefer to talk to see, enjoy and be inflating his ego when he tells stories of champions that often are either invented or stolen from the other. On these occasions the council is approving head and let you think you have believed. So we're all happy.
I think my opinion has been clear about what is happening in some areas. I hope nobody was offended and if he did it belong to any of these groups, let him look.
Many people may think that says this guy if this entry is encouraging more people to go to see bears. That's not the end, the aim is to make people think they are doing wrong and not really enjoy nature and still have time. Apart from this, I see pictures of lynx in Andalusia and I still have not been there. Everyone I think what you want.
I'll leave the section on social criticism and spend a little more to the area really important. Here I upload a photo of the male and female brown bear that could do with attitudes of courtship last spring.

female brown bear
After spring mating season and during the bears tend to feed mainly on grasses and leafy plants. Also benefit from some of the carcasses left by the winter. During this time, when females leave their pups last year to return to breed. Often these young bears are disoriented and approach enough to the people. The brothers often peramenecer together a how long until everyone moves on.

Youth brown bears in the Cantabrian mountain
The observation of these 2 brothers were fed mainly by vegetation until they found the leg of a deer at which gnawed a good time. Young bears often do not take much meat they eat carrion over ghouls invertebrate larvae developing their juvenile stages in the flesh. Mothers will
this time feeding its young and field in an area where they can find food as anteaters, silvesres fruit, carrion ... In the late summer season, the Bears return to the higher areas of the fruit to feed mainly on 2 floors: The blueberries and the repudiation (escuernacabras). Is the time when the scrum is often caused the bear. People come from everywhere and of all types to see these animals. French companies billed between them. It is then best seen the pros and cons of this large mammal observation.
Brown bear feeding on blueberries
As you can see the pictures that accompany this post were taken at a great distance, without making any time in its life. Naturally not criticize people who either do if I did. After the summer
bears venture into the forest to feed on fruits such as acorns or chestnuts which provide many of the calories needed for these animals through the winter. These past 2 years the winters have been hard and most bears are hibernating, but you know of any case in the warmest years the bears are no longer hibernating in the mountains. The bears give birth to their young in this period to that in the spring when they have to leave the den to follow their mother.
I hope you enjoyed the entry and greeting.
