How To Prepare For A Night Of Heavy Drinking

A couple of weekends Gijón decided to stop by to visit a friend who is studying there. My goal was to spend a weekend off all, know the city and take the chance to photograph something that can be seen in the Asturian city. I had talked about the confidence of some wading birds that wintered in Gijón, but the truth is I did not expect much.
The main objective was the turnstone. Some waders active and looking for food all the rocks stained green at low tide. Had looking forward to this species and the truth is that it gave pretty good. In Gijón we can find flocks of these birds walking among the pedestrians like pigeons are treated. Flights accompanied by singing animated feature walks through the coastal zone.

Turnstone (Arenaria interpres )

often difficult to discover these animals because they are not too big and besides that its plumage is indistinguishable from the rocaje while remaining motionless. Some of the specimens photographed are beginning to present some of the feathers that look in the breeding season in breeding areas such as Scotland. Below attached a picture of the area which usually move these bugs.

Habitat dark sandpiper and turnstone

The best way to photograph is to be still in a zone where they are wandering in search of food and themselves getting closer to points that exceed the minimum focusing distance lens (1.8 m). Fast-moving and on cloudy days there are times when there Asturian have patience to photograph them still, but the results are worth it.

Apart from Turnstone although we also saw a few dark sandpiper. They are also more elusive than the turnstone and a size less. Its location also becomes more complex as their plumage is more off and blends better with the rocks bathed by the Cantabrian. Here is a picture of maritima.

The truth is that someone from the mountain and I will suit a change of scenery and other wildlife from time to time. Apart from the above I also saw wading egrets, black-headed gulls, gull, yellow-legged gulls and cormorants. Common animals seafarers but they do distract people from areas dens. It was a short entry but I wanted to do it. Greetings, I hope you enjoy and thanks for visiting the blog.

Template To Make Minnie Mouse Ears

Homo sapiens

The truth is that it takes time to this entry through the mind. I wanted to talk of man, human being, that after all is still an animal. To do this I dedicate this post to all those people who support me either in the world of naturalism or in daily life and I should much of what I am today. I thank you in capital letters to each of them.
Humans are responsible for ensuring that the planet can take much of the way it looks today. Is responsible for mass deforestation, fires, species extinction, violence, terrorism ... and a lot of nasty things. But we can not generalize, and less in a species with such a variety of individuals like us (it's strange to speak of individuals at the time of lying to humans). The human being is also responsible for such abstract feelings like love, happiness, friendship, family concept, species recovery plans, creation of natural ... And is that as in all species, individuals are more aggressive than others and also more aware than others.
There are people who are bent on denying that humans are animals is evidence however that we can not denied and that our body functions like any animal that looks like us, the difference is that we know how it works and they do not.
also have many animal behaviors such as group life and job sharing.
Now I will concentrate on that circle of people who said at the beginning. Those who help make this life better.
start by introducing me to me, I do not usually hang my photos on the blog but many people do not know how I am and why I think it's a good idea. The truth is that you to read the blog enough and I know I'm tied to this world so here is some more to add.

hope now put me face

As you can see, touch me more animal than human at times.
continue my father, who has helped the hobby depends on which depend today. Has the person who taught me most essential things in the observation of nature. Learning to read the mountain, locate the animals, the approach, anecdotes that often sound like a legend but they are real ... It's my partner in most of field trips and I am yours. We learn a lot from each other.

My father in a Beech Asturian

also mention my mother who lives many times this hobby with the same passion that we already my brother who has been the one who taught me everything about photography today.
Other fellow adventurers in the field are my cousin Dani and his father Ulpiano. We have lived through many experiences together in the Cantabrian Mountains and beyond. Ulpiano is a cousin of my father and his son Daniel is, but the relationship is like brothers. My cousin Daniel shares with me a passion for nature.

The family is a concept that is also rooted in many animal species such as great apes in which family ties are much importance or herds of carnivores such as wolves. Not to mention the maternal instinct we share with many animals in protecting the cubs from harm coming to give birth.
I will now talk about friends. Those people who accompany us on this journey that is life. For better and for worse. Someone to discuss problems, vent, but also enjoy a daily basis and share experiences that are mature. In animals we can speak of a "friendship" as a covenant which is between wolves wandering or some kind of association between species but of course with few differences and that these relationships are of mutual benefit and Friendship is not about giving to receive, but live.
start with my friend David. He's my friend since we were little and I always prove that you are and be there to do whatever it takes. A serious and mature guy who is clear about what he wants and always fight for it. Great support.

David

I can not forget Alfredo, a lover of cars or Vero David's girlfriend. People that are essential to disconnect.
Leaving to pursue a career I was also able to meet people who are essential in my life right now. Like animals, when you get to a new environment the first thing you do is try to recognize all and then place you go and choosing what best suits your conditions. With university life goes something like this. At first many people know but are steadily realizing who they are really friends and those without. Tell you a little of each of them and they deserve it and I hope that will match. They are all very important to me.
Peña: A guy too but Basque Cantabrian birth. Interested in herpetofauna and laughter are guaranteed with him. Luis Carlos
: An interesting guy with lots to offer and is always there when you need it. Angel
: Passionate about small game. It seems to have his head elsewhere but is faithful friends. Kike
: hunter but also an animal lover. The number and variety of the same breed is shown. Good heart. Humberto
: Berciano hearted entomologist. She loves bugs and their surroundings. Pati
: A blonde Burgos eager to learn and that has helped me a lot. A great biologist in the future. Mary
: Born in Logroño and inseparable friend of Pati. The eternal smile.
Of course I can not forget people like Lorea, Andrea, Patricia, Jaime, Pablo, Raquel, Hector, Marta, and a long list of people who have helped me at a time and surely will be I left out but I want to thank them. I hang a photograph of one of them.

Friends are key people in life. In a film said that happiness is only real if shared and has all necessary right because people that share the best moments of life and where support and help in bad times.
not forget for all the people I met in the world of nature photography, I have shared some great moments Field and others have learned a lot. I mean Luis Miguel Prieto, Fernando Prieto, Carloz Nazario, David Alvarez, Javier Valladares, Alberto Fernández Palacio, Manuel Raul Alonso, etc etc ... They also thank them.
also thank all the people who follow the blog regularly, entries that tell me that I write to congratulate me, to everyone who bought me a photograph, requested a roll ... all of them thanks you help to continue to keep up the illusion. Leaving aside
thanked continue to talk of human beings. The human being is capable of creating beautiful things such as works of art, historical buildings etc ... Although often do not realize the collateral damage involving these elements. Lately I've spent a lot of street photography and here I leave a small sample.

Noting the human being we can find details that show intelligence saying that separates us from other animal groups but I prefer to say that we are well established within them. Noting a look, an expression, we can ... see something not seen in any other being. Although some animals have a well-structured code of signs remains something that makes us different. They are feelings.

Curiosity

Sadness

Distrust

I have concluded that the best way to get through life is surrounded by people who love you, in the end everything else is ephemeral and not getting anywhere. So it is good to be integrated into a kind of herd in which each component contributes something important and in which every essential. Acting as a team.

Teamwork

is true that human beings are very complex, but often complicate life more than necessary. I hope the fans do not have bothered to blog this entry philosophical a bit outside the norm. It was a thorn that was stuck and felt the need to thank. Therefore Thanks again to everyone.

Skinlights Face Illuminator

Tailed Salamanders

The truth is qe and be felt. The days have more daylight hours, the temperature rises, the snow will melt and we all have that something that will put nerviosillos (in my case even more nerviosillo). Spring has arrived, at least chronologically and that there is still some forecasting snow this week.
The first animals to notice these changes are usually insects begin to stir and herpetofauna. It's time that these animals magical twilight and manners are amphibians begin their wanderings.
A challenge for this year was able to view and Salamander fotgrafiar Dartford in adulthood, and so far had only managed to see larval and juvenile stages. Yesterday I finally get it, besides looking at No. 1 single, but 5 adult individuals Chioglossa lusitanica

Salamandra Dartford ( Chioglossa lusitanica)

In a vertical wall full of holes and lined by moss dripping water and life everywhere we can find these little dancers from moisture. It's amazing agility and reminiscent of a reptile for speed rather than an amphibian. Its back is confused with orange tones of the rock and the dry grass flattened by the rain. Last night was rainy and about 10 º. Dartford
The salamander is one of those gems that presents the Cantabrian mountain range that makes that wind through the valleys and mountains further appreciate the wealth of these lands. Knowing it's there is gorgeous, but you can find them and know that there are indeed still brings more satisfaction.

Lusitanica Chioglossa

As you can see, in adults inidividuos queue length is significant with respect to the body. Etos ls animals choose areas that water has a high purity for desarrollr their life cycle. This means that often choose galleries of abandoned mines or similar places where the water flows directly from the earth.
This animal can detach from the tail under threat and often moves to a potential hazard to attract the attention of the predator and thus be able to escape once it has shifted its attention.
As you will know amphibians are animals that are in serious regression process. The appearance of mycosis that affect them, the destruction of their habitats, etc ... are problems that affect them. For them it is good to preserve places like the one I visited yesterday in which I can also find a salamander, a long-legged frog, common frogs and toads vermilion.

Hope you input has proved interesting and thanks for visiting the blog. A greeting
